BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL LIBRARIES CULTURAL SAFARI AFRIKA Thursday 2 - Wednesday 29 April, Holland Park Library Cultural Safari Afrika is a program of free performances, workshops, events and displays celebrating Brisbane’s African communities. Activities include special storytimes, writer’s workshops, recycled art, Rwandan basket weaving, a youth speakout session and more. Don’t miss the special celebration day on Saturday 18 April from 10.30am-3pm, with music, dance, performances and activities for all ages. Cultural Safari Afrika is part of Council’s Cultural Connections in Libraries, which encourages communities of different cultural backgrounds to create connections and share their culture with the wider community.
