* Places are limited. Booking essential. VINTAGE TATTOO EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP* Make your own alternative fashion statement at Garden City Library with this handmade, craft-with- attitude. The workshop will involve embroidering tattoo- inspired designs on clothing, so please bring along an item of clothing to be embroidered (other materials supplied). No prior knowledge of embroidery or sewing skills required. VAMPIRES AND WOLVES* Film concept artist David Lovegrove, who worked on The Ruins as well as the upcoming television series The Pacific, will show you, at Sunnybank Hills and Chermside Libraries, how artists design the storyboards, clothes, hairstyles and accessories. He will also help you draw your favourite vampires, humans or wolves using the tricks of the trade. NORTHSIDE LIBRARIES UP LATE Northside Libraries GET LOUD at Banyo Library during National Youth Week and will showcase the creative, inspiring and LOUD talents of Northside young people. The night will feature live music, workshops and displays from library workshops across the Northside during National Youth Week. No bookings required.
