DOG, BABY AND YOU A pet dog can make a wonderful addition to a household and a child's life, but did you know that the majority of dog bites in Queensland happen in the home? Council holds free community information sessions that will help expectant parents and grandparents keep their homes safe and happy for their new arrivals. The sessions provide tips on how to prepare your dog for your newborn's arrival, advice on how to introduce your baby to the dog and what to teach your child as they grow into an active toddler. Tuesday 1 March 7-9pm Chermside Library* Thursday 24 March 7-9pm Carindale Library* For more information visit www.brisbane.qld.gov.au or call Council on (07) 3403 8888.
