Late last year a delightful book called Coffee 33 was produced by Robert Chapman and Ross Allen. The book contains photographs and information about 33 of Brisbane's coffee shops together with a small poem about each location. It is a charming and very professional work. Robert and Ross will host this author talk. Bookings essential. Displays MoB Outreach Exhibition, Brillustration: children's picture book illustrators in Brisbane - Wednesday 7 May - Monday 2 June. This Museum of Brisbane exhibition profiles 11 Brisbane illustrators. See colourful artworks and learn quirky facts. Who fed her pet rabbit green jellybeans? Who keeps animal skulls in their studio? Join us to discover our Brisbane illustrators. Mosaics made by Helen Newlove will be on display, as well as artwork presented by the Onward Motivational School for Artists. Live in the Libraries Live in the Libraries: Musical History of Bollywood - Thursday 22 May 10.30am. A fun session of Bollywood music and dance with Roushini. Learn why Indian movies are called Bollywood, who the Bollywood pinups are and be introduced to the famous Kapoor family.
